E. Jakarta Population Sub-dept. Issues 200 KIAs in Two RSUDs

According to Sukma Wijaya, Head of East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept., the integrated service in such hospitals has been held two weeks. It is done to serve residents who have done childbirth.

There are four programs in the service plus BPJS Kesehatan processing. They are childbirth, citizen identification numbers (NIK) based on birth statement letter from RSUD, family card (KK) plus its NIK, as well as birth certificate and KIA printing.

Central Jakarta will Open KIA Making Service in RPTRA

"Thus far we have issued 200 child identity cards. The service will be continued to be held," he stated, Wednesday (5/17).

In the future, similar service will be held in the sub-district RSUD. But it is still awaiting equipment procurement, including internet network installation.

He hoped the process could be fast thus another service in sub-district RSUD can be realized.

"If child is 17 years old, they will move to ID card," he stated.

In one day, the average number of KIAs printed in two hospitals is about 30 sheets. This is held every day in two hospitals from 7.30 AM-4 PM and Saturday until 12 PM.
